The Weight of Wet Wool

This one is called “The Weight of Wet Wool.”

When sheep are soaked, their fleece holds more than you’d expect. They walk slower. They sink deeper into the earth.

You can’t always see the weight unless you’re the one carrying it.

People are like that too.

Before you judge someone’s pace… Before you criticise your own…

Remember—some of us are moving through storms you can’t see.

Be gentle. With others. With yourself.

Why This Story Matters – from Carmel:

“I remember PJ watching the sheep and saying, ‘They’re walking heavier today.’ He wasn’t talking about emotion—but I felt it in my bones. So many of us carry invisible weight. This note is permission to honour that instead of hiding it.”
